Burgess and I want to remind everyone to write your Senators and urge them to vote PRO LIFE (against abortion) in response to President Obama’s “Freedom of Choice Act”.  I used to think that it was such a hassle to write politicians but these days it is SO EASY!  Most have websites that you can email directly from.  They make it very easy.  It took Burgess and I a total of about 10 minutes to write our letters and send them.  It doesn’t have to be long or really in depth, just write what you feel and VOICE YOUR OPINION!  We have to be the voice for these babies who can’t speak for themselves.  Please help and REMEMBER to do your part.  Email your senators TODAY! (if you have time to read this blog – you have time to do this too:)  Here is an example of what Burgess wrote, I thought he voiced his opinion really well – short and sweet.

“My wife and I have just been notified about the Freedom of Choice Act that President Obama has promised to sign.  This act is entitled freedom of choice but it disregards the choice of the child.  This country is about the freedom to reach our potential, but if this act passes, our country will support restricting children from reaching any potential.

This is obviously a moral issue, some are for some are against.  We as a family will always fight against abortion, and we do not want any of our money going to fund abortion.  This Freedom of Choice Act, takes away everyone’s choice whether to support abortion or not.  Our tax dollars will go to support abortion, which is a violation of our religious beliefs and moral standards.  This country was built upon freedom, this bill is an insult to freedom and a hypocrisy to what our nation stands for.

Please vote against the Freedom of Choice Act.  Continue to promote alternatives to abortion and more importantly, let’s promote education.  You are our voice, please help keep this nation really Free.

This morning I gave my wife a pedicure! She wanted to wear open toed shoes today, because well, her feet can’t really fit in any others . So since she wanted to show off her feet I painted them so they would be the prettiest toesies in the world! 

Of course the pedicure came with a free foot massage as well.

He wakes up this morning and bundles up…

Gets serious….

Shovels our driveway and sidewalk and then moves on to the neighbors driveway and sidewalk.

He comes in after a little over an hour….HUGE (frozen) SMILE……

This is why I love my husband…..this is why I made him the biggest pancake I have ever made….to show him that I love him more than I ever have.
