Last night Nana treated Burgess, Freddy and I to a wonderful night out to see Fiddler on the Roof. It wasn’t just any production of the show either, it was the farewell tour with Topal as Tevye. It was such a good show. Everything was awesome. Topal was truly the highlight of the show. Even in his old age his voice is just perfect. He played Tevye in the movie when he was 35 and now he is finally saying farewell to this beloved character and time old favorite musical at 76 years old. He still moves like he is 35 though, he is a great dancer. Man, it was just such a fun time. Freddy loved all the music but especially the song “If I Were a Rich Man”…he was moving to the beat!!! It was really funny. We had a really good time, Thanks Nana!

As many of you know Saturday was Valentine’s Day! I haven’t met a lot of the wives that read this blog but my wife is the best wife in the world! During the week she sneakily asked me what my favorite breakfast was and went shopping for stuff without me knowing. Much to my surprise on Valentine’s morning Amy woke up early to make me Eggs Benedict even though she doesn’t really like them. She even had a jug of both Chocolate Milk and V8 Splash there waiting on the table. She wrote a note asking me to be her Valentine, it was the sweetest. I wonderful and filling breakfast. We had Lunch at PF Chang’s, which was great, we love the lettuce wraps. It still can’t compare to the cooking of my wife. Can you believe it, over 8 months pregnant and she still woke up early to make breakfast, my hero, or is it heroine, either way she’s super! We also went to IKEA to get some ideas on dressers, any trip to IKEA can be an adventure in itself, it was fun. After all that, we decided to forgo dinner plans and stay at home to snuggle with left overs and a movie – Swing Vote, not a great movie, but beyond great company. So to all those wives that thought you were the best I mean no offense but you can never beat Eggs Benedict, PF Chang’s, and Snuggles. Amy wins! I Love her so much. It was truly a happy Valentine’s Day.
